WHO WE ARE

Our story started when we stumbled upon an inspiring short article about food socks, an innovative and affordable meal option that caught our attention. A product designed with the express purpose of alleviating hunger. It ended up being much more, not only something for the impoverished but a product for everyone. Carefully crafted with locally sourced ingredients it can be enjoyed by a family that wants to save some time cooking, or a meal that can be easily prepared while camping or a simple way of reducing one’s grocery bill.

As we delved deeper into the world of food and sustainable local sourcing, we discovered another remarkable locally created product: Cocafair’s bean-to-bar chocolate. The dedication and craftsmanship behind Cocafair’s chocolate production in Cape Town truly impressed us. We realized that our mission could extend beyond providing affordable meals. We wanted to offer a range of quality products that were healthy, responsible, and locally sourced.

This realization led us to expand our range and establish partnerships with like-minded businesses such as Cocafair. We are proud to feature their exquisite bean-to-bar chocolate alongside the Garden Route Food Pantry’s food socks. By supporting local artisans, we not only promote quality and craftsmanship but also contribute to the growth of our communities.
